A service bills its size once per worker. A new database starts at the default size, which the $25 of usage covers running all month. With a default service beside it, the two use the $25 in about 10 days, after which Community stops them until the 1st.
- By the second, while it runs
- A database or service bills from the moment it is running until it stops. Stopped, failed and deleted ones bill nothing.
- Capped every month
- Each database or service bills at most 714.3 hours a month: $25 per vCPU and $12.50 per GiB, so a size running all month costs a round number.
- $25 included
- Every month includes $25 of usage, prorated in your first month. It does not roll over and never reduces the $29.
- One invoice a month
- On the 1st, UTC: the month's $29 in advance and the previous month's usage.
- Taxes
- Prices are before tax. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies; a business can enter its tax ID.
- Not billed
- Builds, the catalog server that comes with each database, and model calls made with your own keys.
- A new organization
- Runs up to 8 vCPU · 16 GB at once until its first monthly renewal is paid, then 32 vCPU · 64 GB.
- If a payment fails
- You have 48 hours. Then creating, starting and updating wait until an invoice is paid; what runs keeps running.
- When Pro ends
- At the end of the period, whatever runs past Community's limits stops: one database, two services, each up to 1 vCPU · 2 GB. Nothing is deleted. From then, Community's $25 of usage a month counts again: past it, what runs stops and can start again on the 1st.
