Blogs have become one of the biggest phenomenons of the internet. They have been used to express opinions on so many different subjects. Many people have personal blogs that allow them to vent, but others use web blogs as marketing tool. Some companies and non-profit organizations like churches often use blogs to drive traffic to their websites.

A blog is informal. Most blogs are areas where people sound off and make comments on a website. This can lead to discussions and forums about different things on the official website.

Cyber stores were people shop online, for example, would benefit greatly from blog sites. The bloggers usually post comments about the quality of products or services. They also comment on sales or the variety that a certain website may have. The blog, from this perspective, is a marketing tool that has direct input from the customer.

Other websites that do not have sale items may simply utilize the blog to pinpoint upcoming events. They may have certain informal commentary that fits into the blog better than the official site. People that see the blog may be inspired to click links that lead them directly to the official website for more information.

The answer to this question is an emphatic “Yes!” Color experts say that darker colors are more soothing, while strong colors are more aggravating. White is a preferable color for most website backgrounds. By using a white background and complementary colors on the edges, top, and bottom of the webpage, one can create a site that is attractive to look at and practical to navigate. The main key to choosing proper colors for your website is to remember that not only the color of the page but also the color of the words on the page are important.Check out this link here. A white page with light gray, bright green, blazing pink, or fluorescent yellow letters can be completely illegible on certain computer screens. Try to use colors that set the mood you are trying to create. For example: a black background with red letters would not work well for a site catering to expectant mothers. But even taking into account these tips, the website may still look boring. To remedy this problem, try using a gradient or other color blend to give your site some pizazz. Experiment with colors until you can find the combination that will make your website look its best.

If you are not already familiar with “flash,” it can add beautiful imagery and style to a website. Flash can capture the eye of your visitor by presenting a type of “moving screen” or changing images, and can even “tell a story.” In this way it can be seen as a positive, as it can be visually appealing eye candy for many, especially if it can bring as visitor back to your website “gain and again.”

However, flash is not all “champagne and roses.” In opposition to its “beauty” many dislike flash for a variety of reasons. These are a few of reasons you may want to limit flash, or keep it to a minimum on your homepage;

1.) Slow website loading time
2.) Search engines can’t “read” flash information
3.) Some consumers find it “distracting”
4.) Not all portable communication devices have “flash” capabilities

The content or text of a flash website can be interpreted as any other website can, however, the portion of the screen that is the “flash portion” itself (although it may appear “attractive”), has no value in as far as SEO is concerned, and cannot be interpreted by search engine spiders. Therefore, in a sense some see it as “wasted real estate,” and very valuable real estate at that. But, there is recent information that suggests Google can now interpret flash, however, webmasters and marketers are yet to be convinced.

Even with all its beauty you may consider limiting its use. Flash does appear to be more challenging on a variety of fronts, as compared to other web design elements, and coding languages.
